Bournemouth Central Beaches From the town centre head down to Pier Approach through our beautiful Lower Gardens and enjoy the seafront attractions, cafés and restaurants, not forgetting the fantastic views of the bay from our historic Pier. Durley Chine beach If you are travelling on the Land Train towards Poole from Bournemouth Pier, why not hop off at Durley Chine beach. Alum Chine beach A short stroll from Durley Chine towards Poole brings you to Alum Chine beach, home to the beautiful Tropical Gardens and with both Green and Blue Flag awards. Boscombe beach New route! The Land Train route has been extended to include the East Overcliff, just hop on board for the awesome cliff top views between Boscombe Beach and Bournemouth Pier. Southbourne beach Breathe in the fresh sea air with a twenty minute stroll along the promenade from Boscombe, that brings you to the Blue Flag award-winning beach at Fisherman’s Walk. Hengistbury Head beach Also known as ‘Solent Beach’, take the land train to Hengistbury Head Beach. This quiet, natural beach is a mix of sand and shingle, popular for sea fishing, kite flying and picnics.
