    The youth centre is open to all young people aged from 13-19 years of age. The Henry Brown Youth Centre is a place where young people come to meet their friends and through relationships formed other sessions take place. There is a mixture of different qualified youth workers that can offer a range of activities to positively engage young people.

    Fusion is a town centre coffee bar un by Bournemouth YMCA open to teenagers. We offer a wide range of food and drinks in a pleasant environment which includes pool and video games. We have qualified Youth Workers on hand to aid personal development, and volunteering opportunities for young people wanting to play a bigger part or seeking accreditation. Our music basement is open to young people and is equipped for individual and group practice, recordings, performances and media production. Or just plug in your mp3 player, turn up the microphone and chill with your friends.

    B-Town Youth Advice is a service located at our 2 Centres, 507 in Boscombe and Sussed in Kinson.

    We will support you with making positive life changes , helping you to identify realistic choices and move towards lasting results.

    What can we do to help you?

    *Support you around training, learning, volunteering and work opportunities at your own pace

    *Enable you to fill in forms and look at education and employment opportunities

    *Introduce you to other services and agencies that may be able to help you

    *Empower you to know how to deal with challenges or difficulties related to your well-being, relationships or progression

    We can offer you:

    *Up to 6 individual meetings with a qualified advisor

    *Access to drop-in sessions at both of our centres

    *Access to short course programme, B-On Track which is tailored to you, to help you make positive progression and to prepare you for life and better understand the world in which you live

    *Guidance on looking for work, training and learning opportunities

    *Free internet access to Job Search

    *Support with building and creating CV’s and support with interview techniquies

    *Access to Counselling

    *Access to Sexual Health Advice

    *Free condoms and chlamydia screening

    *Free Ciizencard

    *Help with benefits and filling in forms

    *Advice on Housing options and signposting to relevant services

    *Referral to speacialist services in substance misuse or emotional well-being support
